Dennis Weber

Fr. Dennis M. Weber, S.C. is a priest of the Servants of Charity, a congregation founded by Blessed Louis Guanella, who assists in the pastoral care, administration and program development and implementation of Don Guanella Village and of the Mental Retardation Services Division of Catholic Social Services. Fr. Dennis has been involved at Don Guanella Village as a lay employee, a seminarian and priest since 1989 and has resided at Don Guanella Village since 1992. Don Guanella Village and the Mental Retardation Services Division of Catholic Social Services offers residential, community and day program services to persons with mental retardation.

Fr. Dennis is the second of
ten children of the late Francis and Elizabeth Weber and was born in
S. Philadelphia and lived his formative years in St. Joseph’s Parish
in Collingdale, PA. He is a 1972 graduate of Monsignor Bonner H.S.,
a 1976 graduate of Villanova University and a 1997 graduate of St.
Charles Seminary and Widener University. Prior to entering St.
Charles Seminary in September of 1990, Fr. Dennis enjoyed a 12 year
career with Beneficial Corporation, a financial services company.
Fr. Dennis was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Edward Cullen,
at St. Joseph’s Church in Collingdale, on November 22, 1997. Along
with his current responsibilities at Don Guanella Village and the
Mental Retardation Services Division, Fr. Dennis is a member of the
governing council for the Immaculate Conception Vice-Province of the
Servants of Charity and a part-time pastoral associate with Priests
for Life. Dennis was ordained on Grand Pop Weber's 98th birthday.
